People Operations Manager

Job Description

As a People Ops Manager, you’ll be directly working with the Head of Operations and Team Leads in a small but growing team. In this fast pace environment, you will be tasked with managing the operations programme for Hiring and People Management. You know efficiency is king, and you will use your problem solving skills in everything you do. You are driven to create robust and smooth experiences for all current and employees, and want nothing but the best processes for them.

Your speed, ability to deliver, and capacity to come up with the most elegant solutions will make you one of the pillars of our operations team.

🧑‍💻 What you’ll be working on

  • Scaling and operationalising efficient people management processes.
  • Managing Deblock’s Global HR processes, including but not limited to new joiner onboarding, employee off-boarding, and ongoing employment lifecycle processes.
  • Ensuring compliance across our HR processes for a fast growing, multi-regional team

Requirements

👀 What we are looking for

  • STEM degree
  • Love to learn and are innately curious
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a track record of building and deploying processes from scratch.
  • Ruthless prioritisation skills and incredibly organised, a project management pro
  • Ability to elegantly solve complex problems
  • Team players: Credit the team & Blame no-one
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

🤩 What will make you stand out

  • 2+ years of experience in People Operations, or Human Resources
  • Proven record of independently creating elegant processes to tackle operational problems
  • Experience in consulting or a fast-growing start-up
  • Experience working with OERs, in contractor hiring, and managing multi-region HR processes.
