Director of Marketing Operations

Job Description

About Blueprint

At Blueprint, we’re on a mission to empower therapists with world-class tools so they can focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional mental health care.

Our AI assistant is purpose-built for therapists, automating the administrative tasks that slow them down and enabling them to operate at the top of their license. With Blueprint, therapists aren’t just managing their work; they’re supported by tools that understand the context of each client interaction. Compared to legacy software tools, Blueprint feels more like having the world’s best executive assistant at your side.

Today, over 20,000 therapists use Blueprint to enhance care for hundreds of thousands of clients. We’ve found strong product-market fit and are scaling rapidly to meet demand.

Our organization is very flat, and our team is intentionally small and talent-dense. We like people who are truthseekers, creative, and passionate about improving mental health care.

We’re a remote-first company (U.S. and Canada only, for now) and come together in person a few times a year to connect, have fun, and help shape the future of mental health care.

The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to bring structure, organization, and executional excellence to our marketing function.

You’ll be the backbone of our marketing team, ensuring everything runs smoothly—from campaign execution and vendor management to tracking performance and optimizing our marketing tools.

While this role is primarily operational and execution-focused, you’ll also be a thought partner in strategy, bringing insights and recommendations to improve how we execute campaigns and optimize results. You'll collaborate with senior leaders in copy, design, and growth, helping ensure our work is high-impact, scalable, and well-integrated across the company.

If you love operational excellence, project management, and making sure great creative ideas actually happen—while also contributing strategic input along the way—this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Project & Campaign Management

  • Own the execution of all marketing initiatives, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Develop and maintain marketing calendars, campaign timelines, and project roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with leadership on campaign planning, offering insights into operational feasibility and execution best practices.
  • Coordinate across internal teams, freelancers, and vendors to ensure flawless execution.
  • Track progress, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables to keep marketing projects moving.
  • Act as the main point of contact for marketing execution across the company.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage all marketing vendors, agencies, and external partners, ensuring they deliver on time and on budget.
  • Source, vet, and onboard new vendors as needed to support marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts, track invoices, and ensure vendor relationships remain strong and efficient.

Marketing Systems & Tools Management

  • Own and optimize marketing tools like HubSpot, Chili Piper, and analytics platforms.
  • Ensure CRM, email marketing, automation workflows, and tracking systems are running smoothly.
  • Work closely with the sales and growth teams to optimize lead capture, tracking, and reporting.
  • Build and manage dashboards and reports to track campaign performance and marketing efficiency.

Strategic Input & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with leadership to refine marketing execution strategies and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Contribute insights on operational efficiencies, campaign structures, and vendor partnerships that can drive better results.
  • Act as a bridge between creative and execution, ensuring that the vision is implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Keep team members accountable for deadlines and remove bottlenecks in execution.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop scalable marketing processes that improve efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for campaign execution, vendor management, and reporting.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in how we execute marketing projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or similar execution-focused roles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills—you love keeping things structured, efficient, and on track.
  • Experience managing marketing tools like HubSpot, CRM platforms, and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS marketing execution—you understand how campaigns, content, and growth initiatives work together.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and moving pieces simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail—you don’t let things slip through the cracks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you’re great at coordinating across teams and ensuring everyone is aligned.
  • A balance of strategic thinking and execution—while this isn’t a creative leadership role, you bring thoughtful input on process, operations, and how we execute best-in-class marketing.
  • Experience in digital health, mental health, or vertical SaaS is a strong plus.
