We are looking for a proactive and passionate Sales Development Representative to join the Olo Sales team. Reporting to the Director, Emerging Enterprise Sales, this is both an inbound outbound sales development role where you will be responsible for managing and qualifying inbound marketing leads and spearheading the outbound motion to generate leads through targeted, personalized outreach. You will work alongside and partner with high-performing Account Executives to identify new business opportunities and expand Olo’s reach into new companies and new markets.

What You'll Do
Own building top-of-funnel sales opportunities for the Sales team through highly-targeted and personalized messaging, including email segments, calls, and video messages, with the ultimate goal to set meetings with qualified customers that turn into qualified opportunities
Partner with experienced Account Executives to target prospect accounts, execute effective prospecting strategies, fill the pipeline, and build account plans
Experiment and test to create high-converting, personalized customer introductions to reach hard-to-reach prospects and develop a library of verified outreach content, templates, sequences, and campaigns across companies and personas
Use a data driven approach to identify success and focus on optimizing conversion rates which will move the needle
Manage sales lead data in Salesforce and collaborate with our sales and executive team to ensure success down-funnel and optimize lead generation activity based on deals won and lost
Conduct research on leads and target accounts using tools such as Hubspot, company websites, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
What We’ll Expect From You
2+ years experience in a quota-carrying or customer-facing sales or account/business development role, preferably targeting Enterprise companies. Software sales and/or experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry is a plus but not required
Experience in an outbound sales motion, including prospecting and cold calling
Experience working with sales tools (e.g. Salesforce and high-end email automation tools such as Salesloft/Outreach/Groove)
A track record of success, and accountability and consistency in hitting activity and quota metrics
Experience working with or selling a technical product, or the desire and aptitude to learn
