Our Area Sales Manager - RoE area will work closely alongside the global commercial team (London), the EU commercial team (Böblingen) and Regional Sales Manager Rest of Europe, as well as wider Commercial teams. With responsibility of an allocated area within Rest of Europe he/she is responsible for driving sales and business performance across the area as well as being the spokesperson and central point of contact for all sales and marketing activities in the area.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies in alignment with management, accounting for legal and regulatory complexities.
  • Areas of focus include wholesale planning, partner performance, marketing, and network development, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Collaborate with dealers and distributors to drive volume growth across all channels.
  • Align strategies with the European business development and regional sales managers to optimize commercial efforts.
  • Enhance market coverage by closely coordinating sales and after-sales networks.
  • Expand market presence and profitability through targeted area sales strategies.
  • Establish business models and performance metrics with regional partners, adjusting as necessary.
  • Foster relationships with EU and global commercial teams.
  • Lead the sales network for Grenadier in assigned regions, analyzing market data for growth opportunities.
  • Conduct performance analysis of regional partners and ensure compliance with Grenadier standards.
  • Support regional target achievements and streamline sales processes.
  • Implement strategies to engage with VIPs and off-road communities.
  • Identify fleet customers and coordinate with the EU Fleet Sales Manager on bids and tenders.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and embed a culture of cost management and customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record (3-5 yrs) in general management as well as sales, sales planning, sales steering and marketing. A proven background in network development and insights in dealer/distributor models is a bonus.
  • International customer experience; bringing a creative approach and ‘out of the box’ thinking is more important than automotive sector experience.
  • Experience with top management working environment in the automotive OEM/industry and having the ability to quickly adapt to changing objectives and changing market requirements
  • Up-to-date knowledge with the latest trends within the industry and customer experiences trends. Creative with ability to think outside the box. IT literacy (presentations and office package) and commercial acumen. Process driven. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English plus at least one additional major European language expected. Additional languages come as a plus.
