Job Description

Our client is one of the world's leading suppliers of premium quality cables, wires, cable accessories and systems. Their products are used in manufacturing machinery, industrial robots, public transport, food processing, alternative energy, electric car charging systems, oil drilling rigs and many other applications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer’s needs and recommending products and solutions;
  • Travel to visit prospect, finding new and developing relationship with existing customers; introduce Lapp products and solutions to gain customer acceptance;
  • Contribute to marketing activities trade shows, customer demonstrations and other marketing events, as well as demonstrating prototypes and solutions;
  • Close sales and provide after-sales support service;
  • Develop pool of customers: identify new accounts and gain relevant account data;
  • Evaluate customer base for Lapp sales potential (ABC-analysis), including the entire Lapp Miltronic product and service offer;
  • Hold technical presentations and demonstrate how a product or service will meet customer needs;
  • Utilize value propositions for a value based selling approach;
  • Contact the project owner’s representatives, gain relevant project data and introduce Lapp as a solution for their power and data transmission needs, obtain request for a proposal. Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions;
  • Continually update customer relationship information and put visit reports into the ERP and CRM systems;
  • Provide feedback to Product and Market Management for opportunities, sharing sales information;
  • Research current market trends and learning about new technology products and solutions;
  • Constantly communicate with colleagues and share information about planned visits, customer needs and other important information to ensure teamwork;
  • Live the Lapp Values, Guiding Principles and the Lapp Sales Effectiveness Culture;
  • Use software-based tools (Excel, ERP, CRM, Outlook);
  • Other work-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Technical qualification or similar qualification in engineering (University degree);
  • Previous experience in sales or customer services is advantageous;
  • English Language proficiency;
  • Ability to perform;

Benefits

  • Salary of 3500 eur/months (gross)
  • A bonus scheme based on performance results (maximum bonus up to 20K per year).
