Job Description

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a results-driven and dynamic Director of Sales to join our rapidly growing sales team. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for meeting our annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts. Your duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

What the Director of Sales role looks like: 

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. 
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance. 
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure alignment of services offered. 
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to stakeholders. 
  • Track and report sales metrics, analyzing performance and identifying areas for improvement. 

What our ideal candidate looks like: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a leadership role. 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in sales, preferably in the transportation or trucking industry. 
  • Knowledge of the truck maintenance and repair industry is required. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to effectively lead, mentor and train. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM systems. 
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Work Environment:  

  • Remote office and field settings  
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs  
  • Must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time
