For one of our clients, we are looking for a Sales Engineer - Core Banking, remotely from the United States.

As a Sales Engineer specializing in Core Banking, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our advanced banking solutions and the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding prospects through the technology evaluation phase, crafting tailored solution designs, and delivering compelling product demonstrations. Collaborating closely with sales executives and cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our offerings align seamlessly with client requirements, thereby driving successful outcomes and fostering long-term partnerships.

Accountabilities:

  • Stay abreast of the latest product releases and the product roadmap to effectively communicate new features and enhancements to clients.
  • Conduct both in-person and remote product demonstrations, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our core banking solutions.
  • Lead discovery meetings to identify and document product and feature gaps, ensuring that client needs are accurately captured.
  • Collaborate with sales executives to qualify prospects and understand their specific requirements.
  • Develop presentations and diagrams that clearly capture and convey client requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant during the due diligence process, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align prospect requests with the product roadmap, ensuring feasibility and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, vendor relationships, and competitive offerings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on core banking solutions.
  • Proven ability to document technical requirements comprehensively and accurately.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects effectively.
  • Demonstrated professional drive and a strong desire to achieve sales targets.
  • Technical articulation skills, enabling clear communication of complex solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience with core banking systems and a solid background in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with financial technology solutions, including Digital Banking (Online and Mobile), Onboarding, and Loan Origination.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in defining systems strategy, refining business processes, and implementing practical business solutions.
  • Proficiency in system configuration using workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, and APIs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • 5-7 years of experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and estimating development efforts for medium to large projects is advantageous.
