Treantly is a Canadian-based recruitment agency that facilitates the connection between businesses in North America and exceptional remote staff in the Philippines. 

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a critical role in identifying potential business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and fostering relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of technical products, sourcing processes, and vendor management to ensure optimal client satisfaction and business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Proactively reach out to prospective clients to identify needs and provide tailored solutions for technical product requirements.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads to ensure alignment with company offerings and client expectations.
  • Product Sourcing: Collaborate with internal and external teams to source and recommend consumables, endpoints, servers, printers, and related technical products.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and distributors, including quoting, procurement, and delivery.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and accurate proposals and quotations using tools such as ConnectWise.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, product advancements, and market demands to provide informed recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and account management teams to align efforts and ensure seamless client experiences.
  • Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs through consistent pipeline management and strategic outreach.

Requirements

  • Technical Product Expertise: Experience with consumables, endpoints, servers, printers, or related technical products.
  • Industry Background: Preferred experience working with companies like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Ingram Micro, Synnex, TechData, or Value Added Resellers.
  • Vendor Management Skills: Familiarity with quoting and procurement processes; experience with tools like ConnectWise is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in business development or inside sales, with a focus on technology products.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and vendors effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address compatibility and procurement challenges.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
