We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Identify and implement solutions to improve system performance and efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with IT team to implement new systems and upgrades
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software and coordinate repairs and replacements as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT security and data protection
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with network administration and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
