Looking for Philippines-based candidates
Job Role: Operations Assistant
Compensation range: $2000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.
Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is: We have been selling travel packages and small group tours to the world’s biggest sporting events since 1993. We are an official travel partner across major events, including the Australian Open, Formula 1, NRL, Rugby World Cup and many others, delivering once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our clients. We are a small digital-first team located outside Melbourne, Australia.
Role Overview: We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Operations Assistant to help build and manage the supplier inventory behind our event packages, hotels first and foremost, plus transport, venues, attractions and other event services from time to time. You’ll work closely with our General Manager and Product team in Australia to source, contract, record and manage supplier rates, room allocations and terms. This is a fast-paced role. Major event launches require rapid inventory setup under tight deadlines, and release-back dates are unforgiving; a single missed deadline can be a very costly mistake. The right person thrives on data management, structure, accuracy, and follow-through.
