Accountant

Job Description

We're seeking an Accountant who will work on analyzing monthly financial statement accounts, executing month-end journal entries, designing business processes and providing team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment. The candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and has the ability to work and perform in a fun, agile and fast paced business environment.


How you will achieve success: 
  • Document policies and processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls; design business processes and recommend process improvements.
  • Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals; execute month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Identify problems and recommend solutions to resolve issues including summarizing and communicating recommendations to leadership.
  • Design reporting and metrics; provide analysis and interpret data to build recommendations that drive action.
  • Execute tasks and provide team support in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department and team metrics.

    • What experiences will help you in this role: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business related field with 3 years' experience in accounting/business/finance field preferred.
  • CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP required, SQL experience a plus, skillset in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to analytical tools and ability to adapt quickly to new technology.
