As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a passionate and action-oriented team, develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, and build relationships with key industry figures. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in a software sales environment and ideally have experience of selling into the financial advice sector.  

Your key responsibilities as a Business Development Manager will include:

  • Delivering online demonstrations of our suite of solutions to the adviser community.
  • Guiding prospects through the sales journey from initial demonstration to conversion.
  • Managing and expanding a pipeline of opportunities through prospecting and canvassing.
  • Building relationships with key industry figures to drive interest in our product range.
  • Learning our product and service offerings, functionality, market positioning, and competitive advantages.
  • Updating the database of prospective client information.

You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Business Development Manager:

  • You must have a proven track record of selling technology or data solutions, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • You will have experience in a technology-focused environment.
  • You should have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You must have experience using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce).
  • You will need excellent communication skills, conveying confidence, sincerity, and professionalism, with an ability to build rapport at all levels of an organisation.
