For one of our clients, we are looking for a (Sr. Data Product Business Analyst - #1719), remotely from (United States).
As a Senior Data Product Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the data-driven decision-making process within the organization. You will be responsible for driving the development of data products by collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining clear requirements, and executing data strategies that provide actionable insights for both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, your advanced analytics skills will directly contribute to optimizing data products and ensuring their alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with Data Engineering teams to solve complex data model challenges, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and reliability while driving tangible business value.
Accountabilities:
- Define and refine business requirements by collaborating with internal stakeholders, translating business needs into clear data product specifications.
- Operate within the Scrum framework to create business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for efficient execution.
- Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and analytics documentation to provide stakeholders with insights for business decision-making.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to resolve data model challenges and ensure data accuracy.
- Demonstrate ownership in delivering effective solutions to complex business problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in SQL or similar query languages.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sisense.
- Strong experience working within an agile Scrum environment.
- Experience in applied analytics, preferably in areas such as marketing, finance, or product management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity and a collaborative team mindset.
