One of our companies is currently looking for a Technology Business Analyst - Salesforce in New Jersey.
As a Technology Business Analyst - Salesforce, you will bridge the gap between the business and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and overseeing the development lifecycle of Salesforce-related features and enhancements. The role will require you to work closely with both technical teams and business units to drive improvements in processes and systems while ensuring that all business needs are met.
Accountabilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholders across business and IT teams.
- Oversee the development lifecycle, ensuring successful deployment of Salesforce features, enhancements, and integrations.
- Design and document process flows, functional specifications, User Stories, and Epics to guide development.
- Collaborate with UX design teams to ensure smooth user flow integration and ensure the Salesforce platform integrates well with legacy tools.
- Drive data-driven decisions, providing support for the rapid iteration and performance monitoring of Salesforce platforms.
- Manage platform feedback tracking and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvements.
- Support deployment efforts, including release notes, training documentation, and user transition plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within IT.
- Strong experience with Salesforce platform functionalities and configuration.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and project management software.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively across teams.
