Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our efforts in optimizing the customer journey from acquisition through retention. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in building, fixing, and optimizing lifecycle marketing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing teams, implementing data-driven strategies, and a deep familiarity with Customer.io as our primary email service provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Lifecycle Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing programs that enhance customer engagement, retention, and loyalty.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing lifecycle marketing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and a unified customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Customer.io Platform Management: Oversee the utilization and optimization of Customer.io for campaign automation, segmentation, and personalized communication.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Leverage analytics to monitor campaign performance, derive insights, and refine strategies to meet KPIs related to engagement and retention.
  • Segmentation and Personalization: Develop sophisticated customer segmentation models to deliver targeted and relevant messaging throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Churn Reduction Initiatives: Identify at-risk customers and implement proactive campaigns to improve satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Reporting and Insights: Provide regular reports to senior leadership on lifecycle marketing performance, insights, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in lifecycle or growth marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Customer.io is essential; familiarity with other marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in building and managing teams, with a focus on driving performance and achieving targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Bonus Expertise: Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce would be an added advantage
