For one of our clients, we are looking for a Sr. Manager, Sales Engineering, remotely from the United States.

As a Sr. Manager, Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of sales engineers while collaborating closely with sales teams to meet revenue targets. Your role will involve providing technical and strategic support for key deals, ensuring effective team processes, and driving cross-functional initiatives that support business growth. You will play a key part in scaling the team’s efforts by coaching, training, and refining best practices to elevate performance.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, providing feedback and guidance to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with sales teams across mid-market and upmarket segments to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Provide hands-on technical and strategic support for key sales opportunities.
  • Ensure team processes are efficient and scalable to meet business needs.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve team effectiveness and business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence through targeted training and skill development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing high-performing teams, with a proven track record of success.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience as an Individual Contributor in sales engineering, product management, or software engineering.
  • Strong understanding of value selling methodologies and the ability to train others in frameworks like SPICED, MEDDICC, and Demo2Win.
  • Expertise in executing programs and processes that drive sales engineering team growth and scalability.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and align with business goals.
  • Passion for coaching and developing sales engineers and account executives.
