Responsibilities

As our DevOps Engineer, you’ll work closely with our Python and Phirates team to ensure a highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design & deploy AWS-based infrastructure for our web applications.
• Optimize & automate processes, including CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Monitor & troubleshoot services to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Enhance & maintain Python-based web applications in collaboration with our developers.
• Improve infrastructure by implementing the latest cloud technologies.

Requirements

Must-have Skills

• Practical experience in setting up and managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
• Strong AWS expertise, including EC2, ECS, VPC, and S3.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Solid Python development skills for web applications.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and web server management (nginx, gunicorn).
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB).

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience with Django.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for service orchestration.

Soft Skills

• Strong team player who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge.
• Proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for automation.
