DevOps Engineer - part-time job

Job Description

Intetics Inc. is a leading American technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams creation, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking fo DevOps Engineer.

We are expanding our ScaleOps service and looking for DevOps Engineers to join our support team. ScaleOps provides DevOps support on-demand, responding to customer needs as tasks arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud runtime environments, primarily in AWS EC2
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure provisioning and scalability strategies
• Set up and monitor Grafana dashboards for metrics visualization
• Configure Prometheus for metric collection and alerting
• Manage log aggregation and monitoring using Loki
• Work with BitBucket for Git-based source code management
• Automate CI/CD pipelines with Semaphore
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Configure and optimize Apache Web Server for performance and security
• Manage worker processes and background jobs using Supervisor
• Perform Linux system administration, including bash scripting and automation
• Support PHP 8 applications and runtime environments
• Work with Laminas, a PHP-based framework
• Manage SingleStore databases (column store and in-memory row store)
• Handle file system management, including scan ingestion and reports
• Design, build, test, and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines
• Automate tasks using Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Ensure infrastructure security, including IAM policies and access control
• Implement application security best practices for web servers, logging, and compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of AWS EC2 and cloud services
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks
• Solid Linux system administration skills
• Understanding of web server performance tuning and security
• Familiarity with PHP-based applications and frameworks
• Experience with infrastructure and application security best practices
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
