For one of our clients, we are looking for a VP, Global Sales Engineering, remotely from the US or UK.

As the VP, Global Sales Engineering, you will lead a team of sales engineers to drive customer engagement and revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to develop strategic plans, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and ensure customer success. This role requires a strong technical background, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to influence product development while optimizing the sales engineering function.

Accountabilities:

  •  Lead and mentor a high-performance team of sales engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous development.
  •  Develop and execute sales engineering strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue.
  •  Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify prospects, ensuring product solutions meet customer needs.
  •  Oversee the creation and delivery of engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
  •  Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering teams to align customer feedback with product development.
  •  Conduct Business Value Assessments and ROI calculations to support sales efforts.
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams to enhance satisfaction and long-term success.

Requirements

  •   8+ years of experience in sales engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in enterprise technology and SaaS.
  •   Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, driving results while mentoring and guiding the team.
  •   Strong sales-driven focus with a track record of increasing ASP and improving close rates.
  •   Technical expertise in AI, computer vision, and cloud technologies.
  •   Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  •   Customer-first mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  •   Proven ability to build, lead, and inspire a team in a collaborative environment.
  •   Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to influence internal stakeholders.
  •   Willingness to travel 10-25%.
