For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Application Development & Cloud Engineer, remotely from the United States and Canada
As a Senior Application Development & Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and modernizing applications, leveraging cloud-native architecture, and implementing DevOps practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uplift engineering capabilities, drive software development best practices, and enhance operational efficiency. This position requires a highly skilled engineer with expertise in multiple programming languages, cloud environments, and software delivery processes. · Develop, modernize, and optimize applications to meet business and technical requirements.
· Mentor and support engineering teams, providing guidance on technical best practices.
· Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and team members regarding project goals and challenges.
· Implement and advocate for Agile development methodologies, DevOps principles, and automation strategies.
· Enhance cloud-native architectures, manage source control, and develop scalable infrastructure solutions.
· Review and improve software delivery pipelines, ensuring high-quality code and system reliability.
· Drive innovation and collaboration to deliver successful technical solutions within enterprise environments.
Requirements
· Strong experience in application development, software modernization, and cloud computing.
· Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including functional and object-oriented paradigms.
· Expertise in developing frontend web applications, backend API services, and full-stack solutions.
· Deep understanding of enterprise systems, distributed architectures, and multi-cloud environments.
· Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, infrastructure as code, containerization, and platform engineering.
· Familiarity with software delivery best practices, including TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and adapt to evolving business needs.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
· Availability to travel up to 50% based on client requirements.
