We are seeking an experienced Director of Account Management to lead a high-performing team responsible for managing the full customer lifecycle for enterprise and digital native accounts. In this role, you will own the full cycle sales strategy to capture ARR expansion and upsell in our customer base and ensure renewals of existing ARR. This role involves strategic leadership, operational excellence, and direct collaboration with sales, product, and field engineering teams to maximize revenue expansion and retention.
Responsibilities
Account Growth and Retention:
-Lead the Account Management team by design and executing sales strategies to deliver customer ARR growth from new W&B products released
-Retain and grow ARR from our existing offerings utilized by current enterprise and digital native accounts
-Monitor and improve performance across key metrics, including GDR, NDR, Customer NPS, and product utilization
-Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives for your team’s customer portfolio
Customer Relationship and Lifecycle Management:
-Gain a comprehensive understanding of customers under management and unlock deeper value realization with W&B’s products, services, and support offerings
-Develop new and strengthen existing customer relationships with key stakeholders in accounts to drive revenue outcomes and reference-ability
-Address escalations with urgency and provide solutions that secure individual customer outcomes as well as wider impact across the customer base
Leadership and Team Development:
-Provide thought leadership and insights to help shape the future of the company’s account management approach
-Hire, onboard, develop, and retain high performing Account Managers
-Partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to align on customer feedback and inform company priorities
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in SaaS sales, account management, or related roles selling to technical audiences, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity
Prior experience leading go-to-market initiatives with new product lines and achieving revenue goals in a multi-product organization.
Proven track record of driving account growth and managing large, complex client portfolios of at least $20M ARR.
Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling high-performing teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer negotiation skills
Nice to have:
Prior experience in AI/ML, Devops, or Management Consulting
Industry expertise in Financial Services, Healthcare / Life Sciences, Consumer Tech, Automotive, or other
Demonstrated interest or experience in building generative AI applications
