SP Associates is recruiting a Technical Account Manager with experience in the Industrial Water Space for a specialty chemical company that supports the paper and pulp industry. This role will serve as a Recovery Boiler Subject Matter Expert.

What You'll Do

We are looking to add an Account Manager, Recovery Boiler SME to support our Mississippi team!

  • Primary support for District to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically and safely at accounts within the District.
  • Helps and works with Sales Account Managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs.
  • Communicates with sales management of activity within the account.
  • Assists with growth opportunities within existing customers and prospects.
  • Identifies and implements Value delivery projects, troubleshooting skills.
  • Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate reports after each service visit and distribute as required.
  • Assists with technical issues at customer sites, brings any issues to the customers attention and puts together a plan for corrective action – ensures the sales account manager is kept informed.
  • Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required.
  • Ensures customer personnel receive the required training to monitor and apply treatment chemistry used at their facility.
  • Analyze data and ensure program performance using KPIs.

Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree; or 5+ years relevant industrial experience
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds
