About the Company

The company is an interior design SaaS startup that creates software to help designers increase efficiency, enhance customer experience, and grow their income. Their SaaS platform empowers designers to provide turn-key solutions with minimal overhead, primarily serving founder-led small to medium-sized design agencies in Europe.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing and scaling the platform, ensuring it is highly performant, user-friendly, and architected for long-term growth. You’ll work closely with the product team and leadership to execute deployable functionalities while delivering clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Your Impact

Your work will directly shape the functionality and user experience of a growing SaaS product, helping interior designers streamline operations and increase their business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development & Optimization

    • Develop & maintain scalable full-stack solutions
    • Build responsive front-end interfaces (React/NextJS)
    • Architect robust back-end solutions (MedusaJS, Node.js)
    • Translate Figma designs into functional components

Technical Architecture & Code Quality

    • Design efficient database structures (SQL/NoSQL)
    • Write clean, maintainable code & conduct code reviews
    • Optimize applications for performance & scalability

Product Launch & Integration

    • Implement third-party APIs & payment gateways
    • Support feature deployment & bug resolution

Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

    • Align with leadership on technical priorities
    • Provide progress updates & technical insights

Testing & Security

    • Conduct unit, integration, & end-to-end testing
    • Implement security measures & monitor performance

Immediate Tasks (Week 1)

  • Review codebase & architecture
  • Align with leadership on roadmap & priorities
  • Start feature improvements & bug fixes
  • Set up development tools & workflows
  • Identify quick optimization wins

Requirements

Must-Have:

    • 3+ years of full-stack development experience
    • Proficiency in React/NextJS (front-end) & Node.js, TypeScript, MedusaJS (back-end)
    • Strong database experience (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
    • Experience with Git, RESTful APIs, third-party integrations
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & cloud services

Nice-to-Have:

    • Experience in SaaS startups or platforms for creative professionals
    • Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
    • Familiarity with payment gateway integrations & security protocols
