Job Description

The Seat

Day one, you inherit a live portfolio of $100K+ clients, a CS department moving faster than its own processes, and founders on the other end of the phone who are sharp, impatient, and paying attention.

You are not here to maintain. You are here to hold, expand, and build the operating layer that turns "they paid" into "they stayed, they bought more, they referred someone."

You own the client relationship, the retention call, the upsell conversation, and the escalation when it goes sideways. You report into senior leadership. You run this department and you grow it.

You ship changes this week, not next quarter.

The Company

AI Acquisition is a multi-8-figure business helping founders and operators scale with AI. Over 3,000+ clients. 200+ mastermind participants. A sales and delivery engine that moves fast and does not slow down for process.

The CS department is real, it is live, and it is not always clean. Distribution is outpacing delivery. Your job is to close that gap before churn or refunds eat what growth built.

Requirements

What You Actually Do

  • Own every $100K+ client relationship from kickoff through renewal and expansion
  • Retain accounts under pressure — including when delivery is still catching up to promises
  • Reframe client expectations on the fly, confidently, without losing the relationship or the money
  • Identify and close upsell and expansion opportunities inside the existing book
  • Build the save playbook, the escalation framework, the retention metric — from a blank page
  • Feed structured, actionable feedback to delivery so the product actually improves
  • Hold the line between what sales promised and what delivery can do — without dropping either side

Why This Seat is Worth Taking

  • Day 1 is not Day 0. Clients are live, revenue is real, leadership is paying attention
  • You build the system, not maintain someone else's
  • Direct exposure to operators who have run $100M+ in acquisition across 12 product launches
  • Fully remote, stable full-time role at a profitable bootstrapped company — not a runway-dependent startup
  • Run this well and you take on a bigger scope, a second product line, or a broader ops seat

You Will Probably Not Fit If:

  • You need a runbook handed to you before you can operate
  • You get flustered by a sharp, unhappy client
  • You have only worked enterprise CS with long SLAs, big support teams, and clean handoffs
  • You measure your work in monthly reviews instead of weekly client signal
  • You are looking for a calm, structured remote role with predictable expectations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years owning client relationships at $50K–$100K+ contract value in a high-velocity environment
  • Has worked inside a fast-moving agency, consulting firm, high-growth info or coaching business, or B2B SaaS company that ships weekly
  • Has retained an angry, high-value client and can tell you exactly how
  • Has upsold or expanded an account without a perfect product underneath it
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — especially around a department that is still being built
  • AI-native: thinks in systems, uses AI tools daily, can map a workflow end to end
  • Native or near-native written and spoken English
  • High-agency, fast-moving, low-ego — bored by long meetings and slow decisions

Benefits

What You Get

  • Competitive base salary ($20,000–$25,000 USD) + performance bonus tied to retention and expansion outcomes you own
  • Fully remote - work from US, UK, UAE, Canada, or Australia
  • Full-time, stable role at a profitable bootstrapped company - no runway anxiety, no pivots every quarter
  • Direct line to senior leadership that has built and scaled products past $100M in revenue
  • Real growth track - run this seat well and you take on a broader scope, a second product line, or a regional ops seat
  • You work with clients and operators at the top end of the market, not mid-tier accounts with low stakes
