QA Engineer

Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and services. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in our software, as well as develop and execute test plans to ensure the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design test plans accordingly

- Develop and execute manual and automated tests to identify and report any issues or bugs in the software

- Create and maintain detailed test cases and documentation

- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of software updates

- Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the testing process

- Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

- Continuously improve and optimize the QA process to increase efficiency and effectiveness

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools

- Provide accurate and timely reports on testing progress and results to project stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Experience with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail

- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in healthcare or medical software testing is a plus
