Job Description

As a Senior Engineer (Go + Python), you will take full ownership of feature development across the stack from designing database schemas and building APIs to implementing agentic logic and developing the Vue frontend.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and scale systems using distributed, event-driven approaches, workflow orchestration, and LLM/agent frameworks delivering intelligent solutions that enhance efficiency and support key business operations.

The organization includes a legal technology platform that automates medical record retrieval and case qualification for law firms, a Washington, D.C.–based mass tort litigation firm, and related holding entities. It is a lean, high-growth environment where each team member plays a significant and impactful role.

As they continue to expand their Philippine-based team, they are looking to hire a Senior Engineer (Go + Python) to build and own features end-to-end—from database schema and APIs to agentic logic and Vue frontend.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Own the full development lifecycle of features, including database design, backend APIs, agent logic, and Vue frontend implementation
• Design and maintain scalable, reliable systems using distributed and event-driven architectures
• Build and orchestrate workflows using tools like Temporal (or similar frameworks)
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered agents, leveraging ReAct patterns, skill-based architectures, and MCP tool integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability across services
• Deploy and manage applications on GCP, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture
• Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices

Requirements

• Strong experience in Go and Python development
• Proven ability to build and own systems end-to-end (database, API, frontend)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal)
• Experience with LLM/agent frameworks, including ReAct patterns, skill architectures, and exposure to MCP-style structured tool protocols
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud-native development
• Experience building LLM agent evaluations and iterating on prompt reliability (eval harnesses, golden-output testing, failure-mode analysis)
• Comfort working with HIPAA-adjacent / PHI data (medical records, litigation files); applies basic data-handling and audit-logging hygiene
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Must have own equipment
