Job Description

We are seeking an On-Chain Data Analyst to strengthen the firm’s on-chain research capabilities by internalizing and systematizing critical data and attribution workflows. This role is central to improving the quality, reliability, and scalability of on-chain research used to inform market analysis and investment decision-making.

The ideal candidate is an experienced on-chain engineer or data professional who is comfortable operating close to research. You will work in a highly dynamic, market-driven environment, translating ambiguous research questions into research‑grade datasets, improving entity‑level attribution, and helping evolve ad‑hoc analysis into durable systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain EVM-chain attribution and labeling datasets, including address labeling (exchanges, whales, protocols, DAOs), entity clustering, and QA to ensure research-grade data quality.
  • Translate research questions into reproducible datasets and analytical workflows, including token supply/distribution tracking, exchange flow analysis, and entity-level behavioral views that researchers rely on for ongoing analysis.
  • Systematize coverage of token launches, airdrops, and distribution events by creating reusable templates and frameworks that reduce ad-hoc coverage effort.
  • Support ownership transitions of infrastructure components (label database, on-chain monitor) to the Data Platform Team through technical specifications and documentation, acting as a subject-matter bridge between research and engineering teams during handoff phases.
  • Validate research assumptions, edge cases, and data correctness in analysis outputs and dashboards.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis using attribution datasets to identify behavioral patterns, reduce noise, and surface potential market-relevant signals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working with EVM-based blockchain data and on-chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for building datasets, performing validation, and automating data workflows.
  • Experience with address attribution, entity clustering, or large-scale behavioral analysis.
  • Proven ability to perform data validation, QA, and edge case quantification to ensure research-grade data quality.
  • Strong curiosity about crypto markets, on-chain behavior, and emerging protocols.

Desired Attributes

  • Strong judgment and prioritization skills when working across multiple research initiatives in dynamic market conditions.
  • Business- and market-curious, with strong interest in how on-chain behavior translates into real-world market outcomes.
  • Motivated to grow toward deeper research ownership over time as engineering responsibilities transition.
  • Self-directed and adaptable, with ability to navigate shifting priorities in fast-moving, market-driven environments.

Interview Process

  • CV Screening – Review of your background and experience relative to the role.
  • Initial Interview – Discussion focused on on-chain data experience, analytical approach, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical / Case Interview – Evaluation of data reasoning, attribution thinking, and practical analysis skills.
  • Co-Founder/CIO Interview – A concluding discussion to evaluate cultural fit, strategic alignment, and how you resonate with the firm’s values.

Company Values

Throughout the process, you'll be assessed for cultural fit through our company values:

  • Drive – We believe the best team members are deeply passionate about what they do. That passion fuels their growth, drives them to seek out the best teams, and leads them to hold high expectations of themselves in pursuit of excellence.
  • Ownership – We aim to extend ownership as broadly as possible across the firm. In return, we value people who take initiative, step up when needed, and treat the company’s goals as their own.
  • Judgment – We value those who see the big picture and focus on what truly drives impact and results. They use time wisely, adapt across domains, and always prioritize outcomes over comfort zones.
  • Openness – We foster a culture of open communication, mutual challenge, and shared growth. We believe constructive debate and proactive knowledge sharing lead us closer to the truth—and better decisions.
  • Competence – We work with people who bring exceptional intellectual strength. What sets them apart isn’t just what they know—it’s how they use what they know to navigate change, adapt quickly, and contribute meaningfully in fast-changing environments.
  • Resilience – We perform under pressure. Markets move fast, and so do we—but we stay grounded, focused, and calm. We embrace uncertainty, learn from setbacks, and adapt quickly without losing sight of long-term goals.
