Job Description

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process and establishing a strong foundation for ongoing financial operations. This role focuses on project-based work, managing timelines and budgets, and collaborating with both clients and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into our accounting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring that financial data, systems, and workflows are set up accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding, providing clear communication and timely updates.
  • Review existing financial records, processes, and integrations to identify improvements or potential issues.
  • Collaborate closely with internal team members to coordinate deliverables and align project goals.
  • Work with multiple clients across a variety of industries, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Utilize accounting technology and cloud platforms as part of a complex, integrated stack.

Requirements

  • Background in public accounting, preferably from a small or mid-sized CPA firm.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in accounting or client onboarding roles with direct client interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and projects independently.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment using modern accounting and workflow tools.
  • QuickBooks certification is preferred but not required.

Benefits

Salary: USD $3,000–$4,000 per month, depending on experience.

PTO: 2 weeks + US or local holidays
