Job Description

Our client is a SaaS company at a pivotal stage of growth. We're looking for a General Manager to partner with our CEO, take ownership of day-to-day operations, and lead us into our next phase of scalable, profitable expansion.

This isn't a pure "oversight" role. You'll balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution—diagnosing problems, testing initiatives, and proving economic results before we reinvest in growth. Think of it as building a plane while flying it, with a clear destination in sight.

The Mission

Drive sustainable, profitable growth at with full P&L accountability. Lead a distributed team of 16+ across revenue, IT operations, finance, and HR. Report directly to the CEO as his right hand, with 3 direct reports and the opportunity to step into the CEO role within 12–24 months.

What You'll Own

Commercial Growth
Diagnose root causes, create strategic plans, and lead initiatives that unlock revenue growth and improve EBITDA.

Operational Effectiveness
Optimize the customer lifecycle, subscription management, and recurring revenue strategies. Build systems that protect our culture while scaling performance.

Performance Management
Maintain visibility through dashboards and scorecards. Set clear standards, track the right metrics, and hold teams accountable.

P&L Responsibility
Take full P&L ownership after 3–6 months (with CEO coaching to sharpen your skills). Drive sustainable profitability in a resource-smart environment.

Your Background

  • 4+ years in SaaS/tech leadership (infrastructure experience preferred)
  • Experience in a bootstrapped company (under 50 people, $1M–$5M ARR)
  • 3+ years leading remote, multicultural teams
  • Strong foundation in sales and marketing
  • Familiarity with subscription metrics (MRR, CAC, LTV, churn)
  • Experience working closely with founders
  • 2+ years of full P&L ownership (proven track record)
