Head of Growth (B2B SaaS / Cybersecurity / PLG)

Remote (Europe) | Full-time

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing cybersecurity startup building an open-source zero-trust network security platform used by thousands of companies worldwide to securely connect employees, services, and infrastructure.

Their product is widely adopted by technical users and organizations seeking modern alternatives to traditional VPN architectures, with strong community momentum and organic adoption.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Growth to own and scale the companys go-to-market engine across product-led growth, demand generation, and enterprise acquisition.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining strategy, experimentation, and execution. You will define how the company reaches, converts, and retains customers while building scalable growth systems.

You will work closely with founders, product, and engineering to drive activation, onboarding, and monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full growth funnel: acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion

  • Build and lead the growth function across marketing, lifecycle, revenue operations, and partnerships

  • Design and execute product-led growth strategies to convert open-source users into paying customers

  • Build demand generation channels including SEO, technical content, community, and partnerships

  • Define growth metrics, experiments, and performance dashboards

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to improve onboarding and activation

  • Implement and manage growth infrastructure (CRM, analytics, attribution, automation)

  • Recruit and lead a high-performing growth team

Requirements

  • 3+ years in growth, marketing, or revenue leadership in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity

  • Proven experience scaling PLG or self-serve products into revenue

  • Strong understanding of funnels, attribution, experimentation, and analytics

  • Experience selling or marketing to DevOps, IT, or security teams

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with modern growth stacks (HubSpot, Segment, Amplitude, PostHog, or similar)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in open-source companies

  • Background in cybersecurity or infrastructure products

  • Experience scaling startups from early-stage to growth-stage
