Overview
Ask-Nova is a mobile-first, AI-powered sales assistant for field sales teams. It helps reps prepare for meetings, surface relevant CRM and market insights, capture call summaries, and follow up faster, all directly from their phone.
We started in life sciences, where field sales and compliance create real friction, and now have our first enterprise customer live with 100+ reps. We’re focused on expanding adoption in life sciences while selectively testing other field-heavy verticals as we identify repeatable product-market fit.
Ask-Nova is a startup spun out of Valsoft, a long-term operator of vertical software businesses with deep domain expertise and distribution across 40+ verticals.
The Role
This is our first sales hire. You’ll work directly with the CEO and product team to close early customers, shape the sales motion, and help define how Ask-Nova scales.
You’ll sell primarily into mid-market life sciences customers (pharma and adjacencies like medtech, veterinary, and specialty suppliers) initially, with the opportunity to open new verticals as the product expands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys selling early-stage products, influencing messaging and roadmap, and building the foundation of a sales function.
Success in the first 3 months looks like closing the next wave of paying customers, refining our ICP and value proposition, and helping establish a repeatable sales motion.
