Rockstar is recruiting for a leading independent natural products sales agency representing the most exciting CPG brands nationwide. The client is looking for a positive, passionate, and detail-oriented Key Account Manager for its Sprouts Team located in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop and strengthen relationships with the Sprouts buying team as well as distributors used (KeHE, etc).

- Be proactive in identifying new opportunities for partners including “Speed to Shelf” and promotional opportunities.

- Develop and recommend strategic promotional plans for suppliers with an understanding of Sprouts digital promotional offerings.

- Introduce new products from suppliers according to their new item protocol, adhering to all requirements and deadlines. Assist in seamless execution of new item launches and promotions.

- Understand and utilize applicable analytics to drive sales and find opportunities.

- Develop positive and trusting relationships with all principal clients and with all retailer and Distributor partners.

- Collaborate with the leadership team to generate ideas for growing principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement.

- Offer continuous communication and transparency to supplier partners.

- Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/SKUs, promotional and seasonal opportunities, etc. while working to secure key retailer appointments for principals.

Measurables:

- Present and receive buyer approvals for new lines/SKUs, promotional and seasonal opportunities, etc.

- Track new item launches and address voids.

- Secure prime placement in planograms and on store shelves.

- Prepare and submit New Items Forms, Distributor and Retail Promotions on a consistent basis by deadlines.

- Secure key retailer appointments for principals.

- Attend retailer meetings with principals and collaborate on all paperwork and reporting.

- Manage and oversee category review calendars that pertain to principals and account responsibilities.

- Offer continuous communication and transparency to supplier partners.

Qualifications & Skills

- Motivated, diplomatic, and proactive attitude.

- The ideal candidate would be in Phoenix, AZ or the surrounding metro area.

- Relevant grocery experience required; Sprouts experience preferred.

- A college degree strongly preferred.

- Organic and natural experience preferred.

- 3+ years of relevant CPG experience and/or 2+ years direct Sprouts experience.

- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to multi-task with great attention to detail

- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
