We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Specialist (Automation & Manual Tester) to join our team at D2B. In this remote role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications and software products. You’ll play a key role in designing and executing manual and automated test cases, identifying bugs and areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Position: QA Specialist (Automation & Manual Tester)

Salary: PHP 124,000 – PHP 186,000, depending on experience, technical depth, and architectural capability

Working Hours & Conditions: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00AM to 4:00PM; full-time (remote)

Responsibilities:

    • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
    • Identify, document, and track defects, issues, and areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web applications and software products.
    • Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
    • Ensure that software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
    • Stay up to date with testing tools, techniques, and best practices.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a QA Specialist, QA Engineer, or similar role in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of manual testing processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) for automation.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting defects, test cases, and QA reports.
