The Role

We’re hiring a Developer to build, maintain, and improve high-performing marketing sites and campaign experiences for law firms. You’ll work closely with design, SEO, content, and strategy to ship work that looks great, loads fast, converts, and is easy for clients to manage.

This role is hands-on across WordPress (often with visual builders), modern front-end (React), and occasional back-end / automation work in Python (Django/Flask). You’ll be someone who can move quickly without breaking things—and who cares about performance, accessibility, and clean implementation.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain WordPress websites (custom themes/components, page builder builds, content updates, troubleshooting)
• Implement designs precisely (responsive layouts, interactions, cross-browser support)
• Improve site performance and Core Web Vitals (LCP/CLS/INP), caching, image optimization, and best practices
• Ship landing pages and experiments for paid campaigns (conversion-focused, tracked properly)
• Develop front-end features in React when projects call for it (interactive components, microsites, internal tools)
• Support integrations: forms/CRM, call tracking, analytics, pixel/tag setup, server-side tracking where needed
• Help with technical SEO implementation (schema, redirects, sitemaps, indexation issues, internal linking, etc.)
• Debug and resolve issues across environments (plugins, theme conflicts, hosting quirks, DNS, SSL, etc.)
• Collaborate in a team workflow: tickets, code reviews, QA checklists, and documentation

Requirements

• Solid experience with WordPress (ideally including visual builders like Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi)

• Comfortable with HTML/CSS/JS and modern responsive implementation
• Experience with React (or the ability to ramp quickly)
• Experience with Python + a web framework (e.g., Django, Flask) for small services, automations, or tooling
• Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility basics, and debugging in production
• Strong communication and reliability in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to take a project from “needs doing” → “shipped and stable” with minimal hand-holding

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Technical SEO depth (structured data, crawling/indexation troubleshooting, log-based thinking)
• Experience with hosting/ops (WP Engine, Kinsta, Cloudflare, VPS setups)
• Experience building reusable WP blocks/components (Gutenberg) or custom plugin work
• Analytics instrumentation (GTM, GA4 events, conversion APIs, call tracking platforms)
• A good eye for UI polish and detail-oriented QA
