Senior Art Director

Job Description

As a Senior Art Director at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), you will play a pivotal role in driving creative excellence across our diverse portfolio of clients. Your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions that resonate with target audiences and elevate brand identities. You will lead and mentor a team of designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and fresh thinking.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative direction for multiple high-profile projects, ensuring that our creative output is strategically aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Generate and present innovative visual concepts and designs for campaigns across various channels including digital, print, and experiential.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to produce cohesive and compelling campaigns that speak to the audience.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing constructive feedback that enhances their skills and growth within the company.
  • Stay current with design trends, industry advancements, and competitive landscape, influencing and inspiring creative strategy within the team.
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the creative industry, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in visual design, typography, and layout with a deep understanding of current design trends and tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant design software.
  • Experienced in UI/UX design principles and practices, with a portfolio showcasing interactive and digital design work.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and mentoring creative teams.
  • A portfolio that showcases a variety of work and demonstrates your capability across different mediums and design styles.
  • Strong preference to candidates residing in the Pacific time zone.

In accordance with applicable pay-transparency laws, the compensation range for this role reflects a good-faith estimate based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and market data. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer. Range: $90,000-$115,000 USD annually.
