Job Role: Marketing Manager

Compensation range: $2000 - 25000AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to take ownership of digital marketing across two established Australian brands operating in very different markets than can execute, optimize, and take accountability for results across paid advertising, CRO, automation, and content.

Key Focus Area

This is a performance-driven role. Success will be measured by:

  • Lead quality and conversion rates
  • Cost per lead / acquisition
  • Revenue growth
  • Website and funnel performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation Focus
    • Google Ads management and optimization (Search & Local)
    • Google Business Profile optimization and ongoing management
      • Posts, offers, updates, reviews, and visibility optimisation
    • Implementation and management of Meta retargeting campaigns
    • SEO and AEO implementation (not just content publishing)
    • CRO optimization across WordPress websites
    • Funnel and follow-up optimization using Go High Level
    • Support AI-driven content and automation initiatives
  • E-commerce & Brand Growth Focus
    • Plan, launch, and manage Meta advertising campaigns
    • Manage and optimize the Shopify website with strong CRO focus
    • Build and refine email marketing and follow-up flows
    • Improve product discovery, upsells, and repeat purchase behavior
    • Ongoing SEO / AEO optimization
    • Support brand-led campaigns and product launches
  • You will be expected to work confidently across
    • Google Ads
    • Meta Ads Manager (prospecting + retargeting)
    • Google Business Profiles (multi-location)
    • Go High Level (CRM, automations, funnels, follow-ups)
    • WordPress (lead generation & CRO)
    • Shopify (e-commerce & CRO)
    • Framer (experience highly regarded)
    • Email marketing systems
    • Emerging AI tools for content creation and automation
  • Social Media Management
    • Management and posting across relevant social media platforms
    • Content planning and scheduling aligned to campaigns
    • Supporting paid campaigns with organic content
    • Focus on business outcomes, not vanity engagement

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or Senior Digital Marketer
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Google Ads
    • Meta Ads
    • Google Business Profiles
    • Go High Level
  • Demonstrated success with CRO optimization
  • Solid working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, and Framer
  • Practical experience implementing SEO and AEO strategies
  • Comfortable working across two very different brands
  • Strong organizational skills and accountability
  • Interest in AI-driven marketing and willingness to learn and adapt
