Expert Product Designer - (Member Enrollment)

Job Description

As an Expert Product Designer on the Growth team, you'll own the Member’s Enrollment experience, the web-based flow that shapes a member's first interaction with Sword. This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact, high-traffic touchpoint that's constantly evolving through experimentation and data-driven design.


What you'll be doing:
  • Own and optimize the enrollment flow;
  • Take full ownership of the web enrollment experience end-to-end;
  • Run iterative design cycles focused on conversion, usability, and accessibility;
  • Translate data insights and user feedback into meaningful design improvements;
  • Work closely with your PM, Tech Lead, and and across all Sword GMs as part of a tight-knit team;
  • Partner with engineering to ensure you collaborate on the best solutions, smooth handoff;
  • Align with other Growth designers to maintain consistency across the acquisition funnel;
  • Support and evolve organism-level components within the design system;
  • Balance speed of delivery with scalable, reusable solutions;
  • Embrace a test-and-learn mindset - this product is never "done";
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate your workflow where it makes sense;
  • Stay curious about what's working, what's not, and why.

  • What you need to have:
  • 4+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on flows, funnels, or conversion-driven work;
  • A portfolio that leads with impact, before/after improvements with metrics, followed by the detailed process narrative;
  • Pro-level Figma skills and comfort prototyping at speed;
  • Strong accessibility knowledge (WCAG) and commitment to inclusive design;
  • Ability to read and interpret data;
  • Understanding of design systems;
  • Thoughtful use of AI in your design process - knowing when it helps and when it doesn't;
  • Design AI led product experiences - Sword delivers superior member outcomes by pairing Human + AI

  • What we would love to see:
  • Experience designing onboarding, enrollment, or signup flows specifically;
  • Background in growth teams or conversion-focused environments;
  • Frontend knowledge - understanding how your decisions affect development;
  • Experience with analytics tools (Mixpanel, etc.);
  • Side projects or products you've built yourself;
  • Healthtech experience (preferable, not required).
