Although we have continued to gain traction since launching in 2019, there is significant opportunity ahead as we continue to innovate and broaden our offering. 

What you will do

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will design, experiment, test and build new solutions, and extend/maintain existing ones. At Bridgit, you can expect to work as an integrated product development team. Designers, developers, and testers work together with no silos or artificial barriers. Your focus will be in designing and building robust systems that scale and, most importantly, make our customers happy. There is outstanding autonomy and opportunity built into this role at Bridgit.

You can expect to work on Bridgit Bench which:

• Runs on AWS
• Is composed of services running C# (.NET Core) and Go
• Has both REST and Graphal AP|s
• Runs in Kubernetes on infrastructure managed as code with Terraform
• Leverages serverless technologies like AWS Lambda
• Is continually deployed to production via automated CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

Does that sound like you? Great! Here’s what we’re looking for:

• You have experience building quality software with a deep knowledge of C#, Go, or another object oriented language
• You can demonstrate strong system design skills and have experience designing and building distributed systems
• You have a few years of experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores (bonus if it's PostgreSQL and redis!)
• Eager to develop and ship SaaS products
• Proficiency in developing & debugging software that employs multithreading, caching and persistent data stores
• An enthusiasm for staying up to date on current technologies and development methods
• A desire to teach and learn from your peers
