Together with landowners, Arbonics is building a new forest economy to scale forest carbon removal and increase biodiversity of European forests. Arbonics was founded in 2022 by Kristjan Lepik and Lisett Luik, and is backed by Taavet Hinrikus, Plural Platform, and Nordic Ninja.

Job summary

As the Account Executive for the Swedish market you will be responsible for leading and driving the sales efforts of Arbonics in Sweden. Your primary goal will be to execute sales strategies, close deals and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Swedish market, aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Identify key market segments and target customers in the country, and develop tailored approaches to engage and acquire them.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product to align efforts and drive business growth.
  • Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the management team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices in the country.
  • Represent Arbonics in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the network of contacts.

Requirements

    • Excellent Sales results
    • Proven experience in sales leadership and business development, preferably in the environmental, agriculture, forestry, or carbon credit sectors.
    • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
    • In-depth knowledge of the assigned country's market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory environment.
    • Proficiency in English & Swedish

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in the climate or sustainability sector.
    • Previous experience working in a startup environment or high-growth company
    • Multilingual abilities, particularly in languages prevalent in the assigned country
    • Experience launching in a new market or with a new product
