The Business Development Representative will contribute to building an exceptional company by helping generate new opportunities for the sales organization. Visibility, alignment, and efficiency are all requirements of the modern-day marketing machine - and our BDRs aid in helping prospects understand how we deliver this, through Opal’s content planning software.

You are a highly organized, endlessly curious individual who is independently motivated. You are able to balance administering daily sales activities while brainstorming innovative ideas to improve sales experiences and customer relationships. Most critically, you are coachable, driven, curious, and creative.

Requirements
Skills, Experience, Knowledge
- 1-2 years professional experience.
- B2B marketing software sales experience or enterprise SaaS sales experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Proven ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience with digital productivity, collaboration and sales tools including; Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack and G Suite.
- Efficient at gathering, analyzing, and communicating customer and market research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting in-person and remotely to a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-Suite.
- High attention to detail with an “everything matters” approach.
- Creative, inquisitive and curious approach partnering with internal and external teams and customers.
- Comfortable moving between priorities and managing deadlines across multiple areas of focus. Skilled at prioritizing tasks and time.
- Capacity to accept and learn from constructive feedback.
- Committed to proactive collaboration and accountability; you are prepared, informed, and ready to go.

Education
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in a related field a plus.

On Target Earnings: $75,000 - $90,000 annually, (base + variable).
