This role is ideal for a generalist with a strong focus on content marketing. While we’re not looking for an expert in every area, we seek someone who is comfortable with content creation, ideation, and execution across a variety of formats and channels. If you’re someone who can confidently contribute to a broad spectrum of content marketing initiatives, this is the role for you.
This role can be remote but US-based.
Salary range: $65K- 90K
Requirements
The Content Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping iPullRank’s content strategy and overseeing execution across multiple platforms. This generalist position requires a creative thinker who thrives on variety, can balance multiple projects, and enjoys crafting impactful content. You’ll collaborate across teams to elevate iPullRank’s thought leadership, support our marketing team, and grow our brand presence.
Strategy
- Content Planning: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with iPullRank’s brand pillars and marketing goals. Write detailed content briefs and oversee the content creation process. Perform market analysis and research on competition.
- Editorial Calendar: Contribute to our editorial calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
- Thought Leadership: Create messaging and narratives that position iPullRank as a leader in SEO, generative AI, and content strategy.
- Cross-Channel Integration: Ensure content strategies align across blog, social media, email, and video campaigns.
- Content Performance Analysis: Establish personal KPIs to track the effectiveness of content initiatives and refine strategies as needed.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on SEO, content, and AI trends, as well as competitor activity, to identify new content opportunities.
Execution
- Content Creation: Oversee and contribute to the production of high-quality, engaging content across formats such as blog posts, how-tos, e-books, case studies, video scripts, sales collateral, website copy, webinar preparation, email copy, and social media. Upload blog posts to our WordPress site
- Collaboration: Work with designers, developers, and external freelancers to create cohesive, on-brand materials.
- Social Media Management: Manage iPullRank’s presence on LinkedIn, X, and YouTube to engage and grow our audience.
- Podcast, Webinar, & Video Content: Curate, script, coordinate, and prepare content for iPullRank’s podcast, webinars, and SEO Weekly.
- Email Marketing: Develop and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and engage the community.
- Content Distribution: Partner with subject matter experts, SaaS tools, and other brands to maximize content reach.
- Governance: Maintain consistency in tone and quality across all content.
Administration and Coordination
- Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Help with marketing automation operations, including reporting, lead scoring, email marketing, and CRM management
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, social media, or content marketing.
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
Must Haves For this Position
- Experience: 2–5 years in content marketing or a related field, preferably within SEO or digital marketing.
- Generalist Mindset: Comfortable working across multiple content formats and channels, with a strong focus on ideation and creation.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO principles and how content impacts performance.
- Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing and growing social media platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track and measure content performance to inform strategy.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and multiple projects effectively.
- Marketing Automation: Experience with HubSpot, creating workflows, working with lead scoring, developing and segmenting lists
- Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Semrush, ChatGPT, and other marketing platforms.
