The Global Key Account Director - Pharma EMEA is a senior strategic role responsible for the overall management and development of key pharmaceutical accounts in the EMEA region. This position focuses on leading account strategies, enhancing customer relationships, and driving business growth while ensuring the delivery of innovative and compliant logistics solutions tailored to the pharmaceutical sector.

• Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key pharma customers within the EMEA region.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team dedicated to account management and business development.
  • Establish and maintain an understanding of market trends, compliance regulations, and customer needs specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

• Relationship Management

  • Build and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in customer organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring open communication and effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

• Business Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and explore avenues for expanding market share.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise strategies that align with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Leverage data insights to drive decision-making and enhance service offerings.

• Operational Excellence

  • Ensure that logistics solutions provided to pharma customers meet all regulatory and quality standards.
  • Work closely with operational teams to monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Manage the financial performance of key accounts, driving profitability while ensuring compliance with SLAs.

• Project Oversight

  • Lead strategic projects aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across various functions to ensure project alignment and successful execution.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a key account management role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare logistics industry, with proven experience in managing large-scale accounts.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical supply chain, including regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and market dynamics.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving performance and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.

Business Acumen: Strong strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable growth strategies.
