CAD Drafter Virtual Assistant

Job Description

Outsource Access is seeking a highly detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter Virtual Assistant to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for converting Excel files into accurate technical drawings, supporting our clients in delivering top-quality designs.

Responsibilities

  • You will receive data from Excel files and translate it into clear, accurate technical drawings based on the project requirements. Precision is critical in ensuring the final output matches client specifications.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet the required standards and that all client expectations are fulfilled. You’ll also need to incorporate feedback to refine drafts.
  • Organize and maintain a well-structured file system for all CAD drawings, ensuring proper version control, easy retrieval, and compliance with company protocols.
  • Every drawing must be checked for accuracy to avoid errors and ensure high-quality outputs. Attention to detail is crucial as you’ll be expected to deliver error-free designs.
  • Provide timely updates to clients, acknowledging their communications within 4 business hours, even if a full response is not yet available. It’s essential to maintain a strong customer-focused approach in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Must be highly skilled in using Excel to handle data, formulas, and tables, as you will be working with Excel files to create technical drawings.
  • You should have a solid understanding of technical drawings and the ability to translate numerical data and specifications into detailed designs.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure is essential.
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, responding promptly and ensuring all correspondence is courteous and respectful.
  • Must be willing to work the graveyard shift (working hours from 9 am to 6 pm CST).
