An ambitious forward thinking Swiss Dermatology company have an exciting career opportunity for an Assistant Sales Manager to be based in Madrid.

Stratpharma has over the past 5 years experienced tremendous growth in the European market and are keen to strengthen their team in Spain to further this success.

An ambitious company with impressive year on year growth Stratpharma currently have 8 products on the market and have 5 more in development which will be released soon adding to an already strong portfolio.

The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for working with the General Manager Spain in delivering consistent performance results within defined geographical areas and building on existing business.

The successful candidate shall promote breakthrough Aesthetic and Medical Dermatology products that launched into the Spanish market several years ago.

Tasks

• Achieving and exceeding their individual territory business and revenue goals.
• Providing education and training to account staff.
• Preparing and presenting business proposals including account metrics and benchmark information.
• Identify key customers and thought leaders within the territory.
• Effectively and judiciously deploy the necessary resources to yield the greatest business impact.
• Develop thorough account plans for all strategic customers.
• Manage territory budget.
• Provide input to the Country Manager on strategy for the Spanish market.
• Assist with managing and developing the sales team

Sales Acumen

• Execute Sales Process effectively.
• Deliver sales message/presentation in an organized and effective manner.
• Demonstrate exceptional product and competitive knowledge and use effectively in planning and implementing sales presentations.

Organization/Time Management

• Independently plan territory routing to consistently achieve territory –account coverage.
• Submit all administrative reports, expense reports and business plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prioritize daily tactics based on greatest business impact.

Customer Relations

• Demonstrate customer-centric approach to business planning, use of medical promotion skills and sales process.
• Uncover the customer’s needs and provide the appropriate information, resources and message to deliver maximum value.
• Leverage knowledge of key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to identify the territory network in the plastic surgery community.
• Develop and build long-term strategic business relationships with core customers.

Requirements

• 2+ year’s current medical promotion experience within Aesthetics and Dermatology. Gynecology, Radiotherapy or Wound Care experience advantageous.
• Experience of promoting OTC products.
• Call points are Hospitals, Pharmacies, Aesthetic Clinics and Medical professionals.
• Sales experience within prescription devices or drugs advantageous.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Documented medical promotion success.
• University degree.
