One of our companies is currently looking for an Engineering Manager, Targeting Infrastructure in United States.
In this role, you will manage and optimize the Targeting Infrastructure ecosystem, a vital part of the business that processes large amounts of data in both real-time and batch pipelines. As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a diverse team of Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Backend Engineers while working closely with senior leadership to deliver high-impact solutions. Your leadership will ensure the rapid and high-quality delivery of features that meet critical business needs, with a focus on maintaining seamless coordination across both technical and non-technical teams.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of the Targeting Infrastructure, which handles hundreds of terabytes of data daily.
- Manage and mentor a team of Data Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Backend Engineers, helping them grow professionally and deliver impactful solutions.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute on business-critical features and solutions.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through continuous improvement of team processes, focusing on rapid development and seamless feature implementation.
- Oversee smooth coordination across teams, including engineering, customer support, and other non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Regularly engage with senior leadership to provide updates on progress and to align on immediate and long-term priorities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams, particularly in fast-paced, product-oriented environments.
- Strong background in backend development and API design, with 5+ years of experience in these areas.
- Extensive experience with NoSQL databases, SQL databases, distributed storage, and big data systems.
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices, including CI/CD frameworks and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including experience in mentoring and scaling teams through periods of growth and uncertainty.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
