Salary range: Rs 400000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 4-7 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead software development activities including coding, integration, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation.
• Contribute to building and iterating new product features such as:
• API development
• Enhanced user onboarding
• Payment workflows
• Vendor tools
• UX/UI improvements
• Ensure adherence to best practices across software design—emphasizing modularity, reusability, and maintainability.
• Plan and execute development timelines, estimations, and technical deliverables.
• Develop custom plugins and enhance existing platform functionality.
• Implement SEO-optimized processes across web and advertising platforms.
• Upgrade and optimize platform to align with the latest PHP versions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Smarty, jQuery.
• Strong experience with SQL and MySQL databases.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with CS-Cart.
• Comfortable working across both frontend and backend.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor AI) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently without supervision.
• Comfortable working remotely with some overlap in GMT hours.
• Professional and detail-oriented approach to work.
