Work Arrangement: Remote
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (US Eastern Time core hours) with flexible remainder
Job Type: Full-time
Holiday Adherence: US Holidays
PTO Entitlement: 14 days PTO + public holidays and sick leave
Salary: $2,000–$2,500 USD/month

Role Overview

We are hiring a Financial Analyst to produce and analyze client reports, manage credit audits, and monitor account activity with a critical eye for accuracy and financial insight. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and reporting skills, experience working with U.S.-based businesses, and a keen sense of when something looks “off.” You will help ensure our clients receive clean, relevant, and actionable financial insights by following SOPs—but more importantly, knowing when to question the data.

Key Responsibilities

Client Update Reports

  • Pull together results and insights from financial data
  • Distinguish between our work and third-party work to ensure proper attribution
  • Analyze reports critically for inconsistencies, discrepancies, or misaligned date ranges
  • Present only key insights—filtering out unnecessary data
  • Ensure formatting follows U.S. standards (date and currency formatting)
  • Maintain a neat, standardized, and client-ready reporting style

Credit Report Management

  • Review Amazon audit claims and determine relevance
  • Approve credits where applicable and provide clear client explanations
  • Flag and explain irrelevant claims
  • Escalate large or unclear credits for further internal review
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure claims are addressed promptly

Ongoing Financial Oversight

  • Monitor account activity and proactively flag any unexpected changes
  • Maintain consistency in report formatting and data accuracy
  • Identify anomalies and escalate issues as needed
  • Suggest improvements in reporting workflows where appropriate

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Strong analytical and financial reporting experience
  • Experience working with U.S.-based businesses (currency and date formatting familiarity)
  • Critical thinking and attention to detail when working with large data sets
  • Comfortable escalating concerns and seeking clarification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and highly organized

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with Amazon (Seller Central or Vendor Central)
  • Background in ecommerce, fintech, or fast-paced digital businesses
  • Experience with credit claim reviews or reconciliation
