Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO to provide high-level financial leadership and strategic insight to support our executive team and drive financial growth.

Role Description:

The Fractional CFO will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to guide the financial strategy of the business. This role is ideal for an accomplished finance professional who wants to work with a high-growth company on a part-time basis. You will bring deep financial expertise to optimize cash flow, improve financial reporting, and help inform executive-level decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term financial strategy aligned with business goals
  • Build and manage forecasting, budgeting, and financial models
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, expenses, and working capital
  • Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Oversee financial reporting and compliance (GAAP, tax, etc.)
  • Support fundraising efforts including investor relations and due diligence
  • Identify areas to improve profitability and streamline operations
  • Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, and legal counsel
  • Establish or improve financial processes, systems, and controls

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive (3+ years preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
  • Strong grasp of financial modeling, forecasting, and strategy
  • Familiarity with [insert relevant tools, e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Excel, SaaS metrics]
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com is a big plus
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and make strategic recommendations
