Backend Software Developer (Laravel)

Tekmon is seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Developer with expertise in Laravel to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our applications. In this role, you’ll primarily work in PHP (Laravel framework) using the best programming practices and state-of-the art technologies and tools. You will be responsible for supporting current and future projects, bringing new features for our customers, implementing API endpoints, refactoring existing code, and seeing changes through to completion in a live environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and create services and system architecture for our projects, contribute and provide feedback to other team members.
• Work with the product and design teams to understand business requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Deliver programming tasks on a timely manner

Requirements

• Previous working experience as a PHP developer for at least two years (experience with Laravel would be considered a plus). 
• Familiarity with writing SQL queries (experience with PostgreSQL would be considered a plus). 
• Work autonomously, are excited by new technologies, and will never back down from the challenges of scale. 
• Fluent written and spoken English.
