Looking to flex your machine learning and data science skills while working with some of the smartest fintech minds in the industry? As an AI Engineering Intern at Novel Capital, you’ll dive into the heart of our AI models and data-driven solutions. You’ll collaborate with our product, engineering, and analytics teams—and even get facetime with C-level execs! This is your chance to play a key role in designing and deploying innovative AI solutions that will transform how SaaS founders access capital and insights.
What you’ll do:
- Build cool AI tools and models that help SaaS founders solve real-world problems.
- Work with awesome people from across our team to tackle big challenges and turn ideas into AI magic.
- Play with data: clean it, shape it, and make it tell a story (stats and coding skills required!).
- Test, tweak, and showcase your creations with interactive demos and proof-of-concepts.
- Stay ahead of the curve by exploring new AI tech and bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Keep things organized by documenting your work so we can all learn from your genius.
Requirements
- Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or students enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or R, with experience using tools for data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for innovation.
- This position requires candidates to have a current and valid U.S. work permit. Please confirm your eligibility to work in the United States before applying.
